Canungra

Today wrapped up a project with the fabulous 4275 collective in Canungra. A solid core group of artists and makers painted a mural for the wallflower project in the CBD. The galah feature, floral stencils and geometric elements were painted almost entirely by participants. The design undertook several incarnations and we allowed for elements to evolve throughout the painting process. An impressive effort for first time mural artists and such a fantastic response from the public made this an enjoyable project to facilitate. Check out the Maker Space, Owl Wholefoods and Canungra Books and Art for a dose of good things!

Gladstone

It was my first time back in Gladstone since 2010. This time around I facilitated stencil art workshops with the Gladstone Creative Group and with the assistance of some local knowledge found some great walls. Thanks to all of the artists who made it such a productive and enjoyable visit.

Blackwater

It was awesome to work with the youth in Blackwater to create this mural. There were numerous agencies involved and working alongside Anglicare CQ, Youth Justice, Disability services and PCYC made for a very successful partnership project both with great outcomes for the young people and the agencies requirements. We even made the local paper!
