It was business as usual this week, which means battling the Brisbane traffic and smashing out another quality mural in suburbia. This was a rejuvenation gig, as I completed a mural on the same site in 2010/11, however a section of the wall was replaced and rebuilt due to cracks. The commuters showed their appreciation with plenty of ‘toots’ and ‘thumbs up’ from the busy roadside at Eatons Crossing Road so I must be doing something right.
Gold Coast Institute of T.A.F.E. Children’s Centre (GCITCC) has been keeping me busy painting murals on several exterior walls. I’ve hopefully inspired some young artists with a variety of works including trains, bugs, numbers and lots of crazy cartoons. Here’s a selection.
A fun themed 20m long mural at Bushkidz Blacksoil. The little tykes can practice and learn numbers, letters, animals and colours.
After completing large murals at Tadpoles Nerangba and Sunrise Beach centres, Tadpoles Early Learning Centres have engaged Aerograffix at Eatons Hill. The signs and images stretch along almost fifty metres of brightly coloured wall facing the busy Eatons Crossing road. There is more artwork to be completed at this new look centre soon.
