Birkdale
/Good times on the Southside with friends.
It was great to return to Ellen Grove and work with my friends at Wesley Mission. We had a blast engaging local young people in a series of workshops to design and paint murals in Community Park for National Youth Week 2017.
I smashed out a quick mural in conjunction with the Murwillumbah Art Trail in Proudfoots Lane over the weekend.
It was great to work alongside the construction of new units with Rawcorp. Currumbin beach is only a stones throw from my studio so it was great to avoid the traffic on the motorway and take my lunch breaks at the beach.
I am super stoked to have the opportunity to work with Pluto. His music has inspired me for a long time and I am always eager to hear yet another quality release. It was a pleasure to complete artwork for the Thud & Dust Drum Breaks release check it out via Plutonic Lab
Ten years ago I completed a mural at a private residence a few kilometres from Lismore. The owners recently made contact to rejuvenate the mural as it turns out they had kept my business card all these years. The mural had weathered reasonably well and it goes to show a professional job using quality paints will go the distance.
The old
And The New (rejuvenated)
After completing murals in Emerald, Barcaldine, Aramac and Muttaburra I headed to Cairns. It was great to visit family and complete a large interior commission. I also had the pleasure of collaborating with Mint and Wally who demonstrated some super fresh Far North Queensland graffiti funk.
