Starry Starry Night in Neon

I had the opportunity to complete a fine art demonstration live infront of a 500+ audience at Cantebury College’s fundraising event Starry Starry Night in Neon. There was loads of entertainment and performances including plenty of neon glowing illuminated students, parents and corporate sponsors.

Calvary Arts Fest

This week saw me busy in the role of artist in residence at Calvary Christian College’s Arts Fest Week. High school art students experienced aerosol art murals, demonstrations and workshops to complete individual and group pieces on canvas.

 

Durack State School

It’s been fantastic to have worked with Durack State School over many years. The recent construction works presented opportunity for new murals. The freshly built multi-purpose hall murals feature popular Durack sports facing the oval and welcoming Durack Dragons in the entrance area.

Winton State School

From Blackall I continued to Winton to share the love. There was plenty of creative inspiration in this dinosaur and opal crazed town including Arno’s wall ..Top stuff! I worked with students at Winton State School to complete a whole stack of artworks during the final couple of weeks of term three.

Blackall SS & St Joseph's

Also been busy in Blackall again….It’s become my home away from home in recent years! I worked with students to design and create several murals at Blackall State School and St Joseph’s in this PCAP funded project. These pics are a selection from both schools.

Toowoomba

Here’s a selection of the artworks completed through workshops with youth of Toowoomba during a 3 day project. The environmentally focussed project was an initiative of Toowoonba Regional Council following recent projects in Millmerran and Cecil Plains.

Display Home

Here’s a niffty way to brighten up your home theatre room. A commission to paint a newly constructed display home by Landmark Building and Constructions (QLD) in Ormiston, Redlands. 

 

A glimpse

A glimpse of polished futuristic forms emerges to inquire about the old and present the new. The three dimensional piece brings vibrancy to the dull brickwork and interacts with the viewer. Original printed photo and acrylic on canvas 57 X 42cm.
