I can't remember what year I completed the original piece at Riverside Skatepark, Tannum Sands... sometime in the mid 2000's. Anyway after a fresh coat of paint it looks brand new again.
I recently spent some time on the road completing 11 murals via 5 different projects in 6 places. It was a super busy variety of commissions, workshops and it felt great to be painting daily again. The first stop on tour was Gayndah State School where the school tuck shop was brought to life with a great message.
It was great to return to Ellen Grove and work with my friends at Wesley Mission. We had a blast engaging local young people in a series of workshops to design and paint murals in Community Park for National Youth Week 2017.
I smashed out a quick mural in conjunction with the Murwillumbah Art Trail in Proudfoots Lane over the weekend.
It was great to work alongside the construction of new units with Rawcorp. Currumbin beach is only a stones throw from my studio so it was great to avoid the traffic on the motorway and take my lunch breaks at the beach.
