Following the success of last years event and ongoing enthusiasm for visual arts Moorooka Day Service clients, staff, volunteers and supporters celebrated Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week. I had the pleasure of assisting Greg to create another aerosol work on canvas. There was singing, wheelchair dancing, a barbeque and smiles allround.

Mt Roland captures some of Tasmania’s inspiring natural beauty. During my stay in Sheffield the mountain spoke to me, it compelled to create an artwork feeding from the energy of rock formations existing amongst the rolling hills. I envisage this scenery evolving over time continually moulded by the forces of nature in action. Maybe new rocks will emerge from this dynamic sculptural expanse.

This is one of a series of murals I completed last year at Mt Gravatt SS as an artist in residence. It was designed to be viewed at this angle as it is seen from Logan Road. Its main purpose is as a school sign including the "Strive To Excel" motto. When I saw the bare brick wall I thought opportunity presents for a Trompe L'oeil.
Aerograffix once again rocked demonstrations and workshops at the Cloncurry Show. The Youth Fest proved popular featuring breakdancing from Elements Collective along with circus and fireshows by Flameable Fire Tribe. I want to extend my thanks to the hardworking locals from the Bugg & Ox Cafe and Cloncurry PCYC for their efforts, hospitality and providing the opportunity to contribute to another successful show.
I've felt a little burnt out lately and wanted to get back to basics, just some art for arts sake. There's nothing like packing a few colours and trekking up a Tweed Valley hillside to relax and take in some fresh air amongst the fragrant whiff of Ironlaks to complete the mission.
I just completed two murals for the Millmerran Historical Society. The transport themed works were created with help from the Scouts and the Millmerran Youth Council over two days.
and I caught a nice reflection whilst I made friends with the ducks at the lake!
